By 2013, Grangetown Netball Club boasted over 150 members, ranging from ages four to 70, highlighting its inclusive and thriving community spirit.
Grangetown's U14 squad achieved a remarkable 8th place nationally at the National Clubs competition, marking the club's highest ranking at a national event at that time.
The senior team demonstrated incredible resilience and skill, winning the Premier League 2 title and earning promotion to the top tier, Premier League 1.
Both the U14 and U16 teams qualified to represent the North East at the National Clubs netball finals, showcasing the depth of talent within the club's junior ranks.
In their debut season in Premier League 1, Grangetown secured a highly-respectable fourth position, firmly establishing their presence at the highest level of national club netball.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, Grangetown Netball led the way in safe return-to-play initiatives, quickly organizing outdoor training sessions and earning praise from Sport England.
The club continues to build strong partnerships, including with Teesside University, to create clear pathways for its talented athletes to progress to the Vitality Netball Superleague.
Grangetown Netball made history by becoming the first North East team to win the ENG Netball Cup National Final at the U14 level, showcasing their continued dominance in youth netball.
